New general manager for ABode Manchester
The four-AA-star, 61-bedroom ABode Manchester hotel has appointed Adam Reckert as general manager.
He replaces Sean McFall, who has left to oversee the development of the 330-bedroom Motel One hotel which is set to open in Manchester next year.
He was previously director of operations at the Marriot Manchester Victoria & Albert hotel and worked overseas for four years with Hilton Worldwide in Abu Dhabi, Seychelles and Barcelona.
Reckert said he was "delighted" to take up his new role. "Having worked in Manchester for several years, I've always admired the standards that Abode Manchester achieves. Its fine dining restaurant is regarded by many as Manchester's best, while the hands on involvement of the Brownsword family ensures the hotel offers a personal service and individual style.
"I'm looking forward to maintaining, and building, ABode Manchester's reputation, both within the city and beyond."
