New general manager for Taj group's 51 Buckingham Gate

51 Buckingham Gate, Taj Suites and Residences has announced the appointment of Digvijay Singh as its new general manager.

Singh will replace Prabhat Verma, who is to take up the role of chief operating officer of the Gateway Hotel Division of the Taj group.

During his 18-year career with the Taj group, Singh has worked as general manager of the Taj Mahal hotel in New Delhi, India, and the Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur. He previously worked for the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, the Peninsula and Four Seasons in Hong Kong, and Raffles in Singapore.

He said: "I am delighted to join the Taj London team of accomplished hoteliers who have enhanced a unique brand through its guest centricity, in a city which has the most competitive and iconic hotels on the globe."
