New hotel planned for holiday village on north Norfolk coast

Plans have been drawn up by holiday village company Richardson's Group to develop a 260-bedroom hotel close to the north Norfolk coast.

With bedrooms designed to Premier Inn standards, the hotel is part of a £20m, 10-year development scheme at Seacroft Holiday Village, an adults-only holiday village in the village of Hemsby.

If given the go-ahead by Great Yarmouth Borough Council, work will start on the new hotel next year. The plans include the replacement of chalets with 252 static caravans and 15 lodges.

Richardson's, which has other holiday parks in Mundesley, Norfolk, and near Chichester, West Sussex, also runs boating holidays. The family-owned company was formerly known as New Horizon Holidays.
