New operator for three Isle of Skye hotels

Three hotels on the Isle of Skye have been taken over after the previous operator went into administration.

Perle Hotels has been appointed to take over the management of the Broadford in Broadford and the Marmalade and Bosville properties in Portree, from Skye Hotels, according to BBC News.

Skye Hotels took over the management of the hotels last summer when the former operator MJ Macleod & Company went into administration.

But now it appears that the plug has also been pulled from Skye Hotels due to "severe cash flow problems and rapidly rising operating costs".

The individual hotels, which are privately owned, are not themselves in administration and are continuing to operate under the new management company.
