New regional director of Park Inn by Radisson for UK and Ireland

The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed Peter Montague as the new regional director of Park Inn by Radisson, UK and Ireland.

Montague joins the 21-strong brand from Principal Hayley Hotels, where he was regional operations director. Previously he spent five years with Barcelo Hotels, also as operations director.

In his new role, Montague will focus on driving meeting and events and ensuring the hotels operate in a profitable and efficient manner.

Richard Moore, area vice-president UK and Ireland, the Rezidor Hotel Group, said that Montague arrives at the company with "a wealth of operational experience" in the mid-market and four star segments. "Park Inn by Radisson is a young and dynamic mid-market brand and I'm confident it will go from strength to strength under Peter's leadership."

Montague will be based at Rezidor's UK regional office in Manchester and will report directly to Moore.
