New revenue management qualification launches in UK
Revenue directors from hotel brands across Europe have joined forces to develop a new hotel revenue management qualification.
Created by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association (HSMAI) Europe, the Certified Revenue Manager (CRM) course aims to cover the development of vital skills required by today's revenue managers and those responsible for a hotel's profitability. Its content has been devised by the revenue directors of Kempinski, Mandarin Oriental, Mövenpick, the Dorchester Collection, Thon Hotels, Best Western and WorldHotels.
Accredited trainers across Europe have tailored the content of the training to reflect national difference in revenue management and distribution, with Ally Dombey, director of Revenue by Design, being responsible for aligning the content for the UK market.
"By working closely with operational directors of revenue, the qualification promises to deliver relevant, current and timely educational material," Domeby explained.
The CRM features three units covering revenue management, distribution and digital marketing, and specialist electives, with each classroom-based unit as a series of five one-day modules.
Further information on the CRM qualification is available from Dombey on 07768 904076 or e-mail ally@revenuebydesign.co.uk.
