New senior appointments will drive growth of Amaris Hospitality

The new recruits include Joe Green as head of development, who will identify and drive new growth and development opportunities. Julieann Brennan, as head franchised hotels, will have responsibility for the management of the group's franchise properties, including the Hilton hotels, while Peter Stack, head of asset management, Accor Hotels, will have responsibility for the 21 properties operating and managed by Accor under their Mercure, MGallery and Ibis Styles brands.

The other new appointments are: Ciaran Lavery, head of design and construction for Jurys Inn & franchised hotels; Richard Kiersey, property director, Accor Hotels; Stephanie Gosling, head of revenue management; and Suzanne Cannon, head of marketing for Amaris Hospitality and Jurys Inn.

John Brennan, chief executive of Amaris Hospitality, said the appointments underline the company's focus on creating a leadership team made up of individuals with unparalleled experience in the hospitality sector. "We aim to attract and retain the best talent in our sector and provide strong strategic leadership to the hotel assets and brands in our portfolio.

"Our philosophy is centred on smart investment, exceptional customer experiences, and nurturing talent to drive superior performance and growth."

Amaris Hospitality is currently rebranding a number of the hotels acquired by Lone Star over the past three years. On completion of the programme, the company will comprise 74 hotels with more than 13,500 rooms operating under eight brands: Jurys Inn, Mercure, MGallery, Ibis Styles, Crowne Plaza, Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn.
