Nikki Beach signs management contract for resort in Cyprus
Luxury operator Nikki Beach EMEA Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement with Dolphin Capital Investors, a residential resort developer in the Mediterranean. Through this partnership Nikki Beach will operate a five-star luxury resort within Venus Rock Golf Resort in Paphos, Cyprus. The resort is expected to open in mid 2012, and will comprise 80 sea-view rooms and suites, a Nikki Beach club and pool bar, spa and fitness facilities, an Ultra VIP Lounge/Club, and signature restaurants. In addition Nikki Beach will house 50 villas offering priority access and VIP treatment to all the hotel's facilities and outlets, and 24-hour concierge service.

Domina Hotel Group signs up for new Venice hotel Italian hotel company Domina Hotel Group and property holding company Finpro Srl have signed a lease agreement for a new Domina Hotel in Venice, scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2010. The new Domina Hotel & Conference Venice Airport hotel will be located six miles from the Venice Airport and six miles from Treviso Airport. It is 30 minutes by boat from St. Mark's Square. The new hotel will feature 200 bedrooms including suites, a restaurant, an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, 1000sqm meeting facilities, a fitness centre and an outdoor parking area. Founded in 2000 Domina Hotel Group's hotels are represented by four brands: Domina Prestige, Domina Hotel, Domina Inn and Domina Coral Bay.

EasyHotel opens in Cyprus Super-budget hotel operator, EasyHotel, is set to open a site in Larnaka, Cyprus, which is scheduled to launch next summer. The 56-bedroom hotel will be air-conditioned, in contrast to EasyHotel's usual no-frills approach, and will have en-suite showers as well as bedrooms larger than usual to accommodate those on longer stays. The hotel is situated near to the international airport, and a five-minute walk from Phoinikoudes beach front. In keeping with the EasyHotel concept of pay-per-use, services such as TV, internet access and extra towels will be available for a surcharge to guests who require them.

Hilton completes £28m renovation of Egyptian hotel Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa in Egypt is now re-open, after a 30 month US$45m (£28.5m) renovation. Located near the Valley of the Kings, the 236-room Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa has seven dining outlets, five of these and half of its guest rooms, have been adjusted to over look the River Nile. The focal point of the entire resort is the infinity edge swimming pool. The hotel's Nayara Spa will open in mid-December. Rosetta is the main dining venue, Diwan is a shisha café which serves Egyptian tea, Turkish coffee and traditional shisha water pipes filled with fruit-flavoured tobaccos and Silk Road restaurant serves Asian cuisine.
