Nominees for 2015 Craft Guild of Chefs Awards announced

The Craft Guild of Chefs has announced the nominees for its 2015 Craft Guild of Chefs Awards, to be held at the Hilton Park Lane hotel on 15 June.

There are a total of 16 awards due to be handed out on the night, including the New Restaurant of the Year, for which Nuno Mendes's Chiltern Firehouse is nominated, alongside Jason Atherton's City Social, Lee Westcott's Typing Room, and Kenny Atkinson's House of Tides.

There is also recognition for the upcoming chefs with both the Young and Apprentice Chef categories generating huge amounts of entries.

Finally, one Special Award will be handed out on the night to a chef who has excelled over many years in the industry.

The awards ceremony will be one of many highlights during the Craft Guild's 50th anniversary celebrations.
