Only few weeks left to enter your breakfast for Breakfast Week Awards

There are just a few weeks left to enter the Best Breakfast Awards as part of Farmhouse Breakfast Week.

Cafes, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, canteens, food vans and hotels are all eligible to register and enter the new competition, before the closing date of 17 January.

The three categories are Best Hot Breakfast (from full English to porridge), Best Cold Breakfast (from cereal to Continental) and Most Innovative Breakfast (for anything a bit different or special).

Nominations will then put to the public vote (already open), with winners announced on 27 January during Farmhouse Breakfast Week, which will run from 26 January to 1 February and support the importance of breakfast as a meal.

Venues with nominations can download and print materials to help drum up customer support, as well as put on a breakfast event, promotion or competition to support the venture.

Organised by HGCA, the cereal division of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, Farmhouse Breakfast Week is supported by TV chef Dean Edwards.
