Openings this week: St Luke's Kitchen; Gourmet Goat and more…
St Luke's Kitchen
London members' club Library has opened St Luke's Kitchen, an unusual restaurant in what used to be a private function room. Library was set up by entrepreneur Ronald Ndoro to provide a haven for London's aspiring literary and design communities. The restaurant is names after St Luke, the patron saint of artists, bookbinders, brewers, butchers and glassmakers. A guest chef will change the restaurant menu every six to eight weeks, to coincide with the release of their latest cookbook. In charge is head chef Gavin Lambert (formerly of ME Hotel and Elk in the Woods), who will work with the guest chefs to make their menu a reality. On 29 April, St Luke's will play host to Chetna Makan of The Great British Bake Off as she launches her book The Cardamom Trail.
