The Treehouse hotel in the 600-acre Port Lympne Wild Animal and Safari Reserve in Kent opened earlier this month. Apartments are designed for four people with two bedrooms, one bathroom, an open-plan sitting room and kitchen, leading out onto a private balcony.

Price Low season: £300 a night, high season: £600 a night
