Paul Boorman appointed head chef at Lifehouse, Essex

Paul Boorman has been appointed head chef at Lifehouse, the day spa and hotel which opened in Thorpe-le-Soken, Essex, this week. Boorman, a specialist in British and molecular cuisine, has more than 20 years experience and has won a number of awards including Colchester Chef of the Year in 2007 and 2008, an AA Rosette and Essex Chef of the Year 2009. Most recently, Boorman has been invited to become a full member of the Master Chef of Great Britain.
