Peter Llewellyn becomes hotel manager at Rockliffe Hall

Peter Llewellyn has been appointed hotel manager at Rockliffe Hall, the newly-opened luxury golf, hotel and spa resort in Darlington, County Durham.

Llewellyn, from Durham, has had a hospitality industry career spanning 22 years, including work at Claridges, before embarking on a role as receptionist and then assistant manager at Chewton Glen in Hampshire.

He has also held general manager roles at several establishments in the North-east, including Lumley Castle, Grey Street hotel and the Thistle hotel in Middlesborough.

Since taking his role at Rockliffe Hall, Llewellyn has been engaged in putting his team together and training staff.

"Rockliffe Hall is the new standard-bearer for quality resorts, not only here in the North-east, but in the UK. I am determined to position us firmly on the map as the best resort in the North-east and as one of the top premier destinations in the UK," he said.
