South Wales Police are investigating the sudden death of a man in his 20s at the Vale Resort near Cardiff.

Officers were called to the 143-bedroom, four-AA-star property at 5.39am on Friday 10 August following reports that the man may have fallen from a window. The incident is not being treated as suspicious. HM Coroner has been informed and the coroner should be opening an inquest soon.

There is currently no comment from the Vale Resort, which is co-operating with police on the investigation.

The property is owned by home retail company Leekes, and is the official team training venue for the Welsh Rugby Union, Cardiff Blues RFC and Cardiff City FC.
