Premier Inn signs speech enabled bookings deal
Whitbread has signed a three-year deal with software provider Eckoh to provide speech recognition services for its budget hotel chain Premier Inn.
The contract, due to start in March next year, will provide customers with the ability to make bookings and cancellations using the speech enabled service.
Nik Philpot, chief executive officer of Eckoh, said: "The Eckoh platform will provide Whitbread with the scalability to deliver on their growth strategy and, combined with our PCI compliant infrastructure, will ensure their customers' cardholder data is properly protected at all times."
Eckoh is a fully PCI DSS compliant Level 1 Service Provider, processing over £200 million payments annually.
