Premier Inn tops Which? poll of airport hotels

Premier Inn has topped a poll by Which? members who rated their experiences in UK chain hotels at or close to airport terminals.

The budget hotel chain achieved a customer score of 82% in the survey for Which? Travel, with Sofitel following close behind on 78%.

Meanwhile Travelodge (57%) trailed at the bottom of the poll, which scored the hotel groups on six categories including customer service, value for money and cleanliness. Design and décor, quality of food available and location were also considered.

Other hotel brands to place include Crowne Plaza, Radisson Blu, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Ibis and Hilton.

The results for airport hotel chains come from a larger survey of more than 6,000 Which? members about their experiences at any UK chain hotel.
