Premier Travel Inn picks up website award

Premier Travel Inn has won best consumer website at the British Interactive Media Associations Awards (BMA).

The budget hotel chain beat rival Travelodge to take the title.

Premier Travel Inn's site was recognised as the one that best understood, and met the needs of the consumers that it aimed to attract.

Judges described the site as "welcoming, confident, clean and effective".

The website at www.premiertravelinn.com features several tools such as a hotel search box, an express booking facility, and the option to cancel a recent booking.

Siobhan Lawlor, head of hotel systems at the company, said: "It is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved and we hope to continue to drive further improvements in our website for our guests."
