Progress plans £125m hotel in Glasgow

A run-down area of Glasgow is set to see a new £125m high-rise hotel development, it has been revealed.

The scheme is the brain-child of London businessman Charles Price and his company Progress Property Developments has unveiled plans for the Argyle International: a 26-storey, 158 bed hotel with a rooftop swimming pool.

The property will be located on the corner of Argyle Street and Robertson Street, in the financial services area of the city.

A block of serviced apartments will adjoin the property designed for longer stay customers, reported the Herald this morning.
