Queensferry Hotels announces £1.4m investment in Scottish hotels
Queensferry Hotels has announced a £1.4m investment in the renovation and expansion of two of its four-star properties in Scotland.
A new restaurant, bar and terrace have been completed at Keavil House Hotel, Dunfermline, Fife, with four more bedrooms also planned for the Bruntsfield Hotel, in Edinburgh.
Russell Imrie, managing director of Queensferry Hotels, which operates the sites under the Best Western Plus brand, said: "This investment in our hotels will allow us to not only retain our current customer base, but also future-proof our properties in an increasingly crowded hospitality market.
"We're always looking at how we can better accommodate our guests, and we're now in an even stronger position to compete and to create brilliant customer experiences for our guests."
A complete redesign of the foyer of the Bruntsfield is also planned, along with the remodelling of two guest rooms.
Additionally, the hotel has installed a new lift, redesigned its events space, renovated corridors and upgraded both the guest WiFi and administration IT networks.
The recently completed Botanist restaurant in Keavil House will serve British cuisine using Scottish produce.
