Quintessential buys Norton Manor

Quintessential Hotels has bought Norton Manor, the 17th century mansion house near Winchester, from Dolce International for just under the asking price of £9m. The property was granted hotel consent in January 2005, following years of operating as a dedicated residential conference and training centre. The hotel, which stands in 55 acres of land, has 97 bedrooms, together with training and meeting facilities, plus a spa and leisure centre. Agent was Christie and Co.
