Quorvus Collection appoints Carina Svenson as global brand director

23 October 2015 by

Svenson moves to the new role from her previous position as general manager of the five-AA-star, 136-bedroom G&V Royal Mile hotel, Edinburgh, one of three properties within the Quorvus brand.

The other two Quorvus hotels are the May Fair in London and the Symphony Style in Kuwait.

Norwegian-born Svenson will oversee the redesign of the G&V Royal Mile, which was previously branded as Hotel Missoni, as part of her new responsibilities which will involve leading the strategy and growth of Quorvus.

During her 20 years with the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Groups, Svenson became the first female general manager of a Radisson SAS hotel or resort in the UK & Ireland in 2005.

"I feel very lucky to be supporting the growth of the Quorvus Collection and introducing the brand to today's luxury traveller," she said. "The brand is characterised by luxury, individuality and creating the most memorable experiences for each and every guest. I'm looking forward to helping to bring those experiences to life in our existing hotels as well as growing the brand and introducing new hotels to the Collection."
