Raffles promotes John Johnston to president

Raffles Hotels & Resorts has promoted John Johnston to president.
He has most recently been responsible for the brand's development efforts in the Middle East. His previous positions within the group include president of Delta Hotels & Resorts, chairman of Delta Hotels & Resorts and executive vice-president, Europe, Middle East & Africa for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
Prior to joining Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, Johnston was employed for 15 years by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, to begin with as vice-president of development, a role he carried out from his base in Toronto, and then as regional vice-president, Asia, where he helped to establish Four Seasons' initial presence in Asia.
