The four-star Ramside Hall hotel near Durham claims that it will be opening the largest hotel suite in north east of England in April, as part of its soon-to-open 47-bedroom accommodation wing.
The rest of the development will offer both double and twin rooms all with a walk-in shower, free-standing baths, and Hypnos beds. Some rooms will offer balconies overlooking the championship golf course.
Hotel owner John Adamson said: "[The new wing and suite] will be something very special for the North East. We have done everything possible to ensure our guests have a memorable and comfortable stay in luxurious surroundings."
The project will also include the opening of the Spa at Ramside Hall in July, which is set to feature a 25m swimming pool, an external infinity pool, a spa garden, a mud chamber, and a selection of steam rooms, plus a gym, aerobics and dance studio, and hair salon.
The hotel also created a second golf course as part of the project, which opened last year, and the complex also includes an Asian-style restaurant and bar.
The plans have been developed in part with former Rockliffe Hall managing director Nick Holmes, who in 2014 announced his position as an advisor to the project.
