Red Carnation Hotels has launched a new online marketing initiative offering exclusive deals to its Twitter and Facebook followers.
Under the "Tweekends" scheme, Red Carnation will each week offer limited one-off fixed five-star and four-star rates for an unnamed property within its London collection.
These last minute promotions will change weekly and be available for up to 72 hours prior to the weekend at one of its six London properties, located in Kensington, Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Bloomsbury, Victoria & Westminster.
Messages will be sent directly to Red Carnation fans on Facebook and tweeted privately on Tweets by red_carnation to its followers, making offers exclusive to only those following the group via the social media websites.
In addition, every booking will automatically go into a monthly prize draw to win a stay at one of Red Carnation's non-London hotels.
Hospitality operators are increasingly taking advantage of tools, such as Twitter and Facebook, as a cost-effective way to market to wide audiences.
