Renaissance Pubs to open first boutique hotel

Renaissance Pubs is to open its first boutique hotel in spring this year.

The company, which operates six upmarket London pubs, will open a six-room hotel across the two upper floors above the Tommyfield in Kennington.

The Tommyfield Hotel Rooms are expected to open in around May or June, although no date has yet been set.

Renaissance is expected to open more sites with accommodation in future, and the news comes ahead of a year in which the business plans refurbishments to the gardens in its Stonhouse and Avalon in Clapham, also this spring.

The company, founded by Tom Peake, Mark Reynolds and Nick Fox, celebrated its tenth anniversary in business in 2013.
