London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) fall by 5.84% in the week ending 21 September, according to figures from hospitality research company STR Global.
Revpar fell to £122.63, down from £130.23 during the equivalent week of 2007.
Occupancy decreased by 4.35 percentage points to 84.05% while average room rate dropped by 0.97% to £145.91 compared with £147.33 in the corresponding week of 2007.
STR Global is a company formed from the merger of leading hospitality research firms Smith Travel Research (STR), Deloitte's HotelBenchmark and The Bench.
