Revpar grows by 13% at London hotels
London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 13% in the week ending 18 November, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar increased to £136.99, up from £121.20 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Occupancy fell by 2.6 percentage points to 84.3% but this was offset by a 16.5% boost to average room rate, which grew to £162.49, compared with £139.46 in the corresponding week of 2006.
