Revpar rises by nearly 5% at London hotels
London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 4.9% in the week ending 29 July, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar increased to £116.86, up from £111.42 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Although occupancy dropped by 1.8 percentage points to 86.3%, average room rate rose by 7.1 % to £135.36, compared with £126.41 in the corresponding week of 2006.
