Revpar soars by 51% at London hotels

London hotels boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 51% in the week ending 2 April, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Revpar rocketed to £92.39, up from £61.18 during the equivalent week last year.

Occupancy increased by 17.2 percentage points to 81.5% while average room rate rose by 19.1% to £113.42, up from £95.26 in the corresponding week of 2005.
