Rezidor takes on two hotels in Brighton
The Rezidor Hotel Group has won the management contracts for two hotels in Brighton.
The 59-room Radisson Blu hotel and the 84-room Park Inn Brighton, owned by Max Hotels, will join the Rezidor group at the end of this month.
David Glover, director of Max Hotels, said: "I'm tremendously excited to be working with Rezidor on these two hotels and I'm extremely confident that together we can create hotels that will become the leaders in the Brighton market."
The Radisson Blu hotel, Brighton is currently known as the Royal York hotel. In 2007, the property underwent a complete renovation and offers views either over the sea or towards the Royal Pavilion.
The Park Inn Brighton is currently operating as Lansdowne Place and was fully renovated in 2004.
Radisson Blu hotel, Brighton will be the 13th Radisson Blu in the UK, with two further new-build hotels due to open under the banner in June in Bristol and Cardiff.
Park Inn Brighton will be the 22nd UK Park Inn, with further properties to open later this year including the Park Inn Manchester, Victoria in June.
All existing Radisson SAS properties will be re-branded as Radisson Blu during this year.
