Richard Synan joins Old Bell hotel in Malmesbury as head chef

Richard Synan has joined the Old Bell hotel in Malmesbury as head chef. Following his studies at Gloucester University and Edinburgh School of Food & Wine, Synan went on to work at Gordon Ramsay at Claridges under Mark Sargeant before joining the team at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon. He also worked under Michael Caines at the Royal Clarence Exeter before moving to his most recent role at Lucknam Park where he worked for over three years and gained his first head chef's position.
