Ringing the changes at The Bell

Returning to the pub trade after an eight-year break, Fergus and Sarah McVey are the new owners of The Bell Hotel at Charlbury, Oxfordshire.

The hotel, which stands in the centre of the popular Cotswold village, features 12 letting bedrooms and an owners' apartment.

The new owners are not planning any major changes, although they do intend to revamp the letting rooms and increase the emphasis on food.

The property sold for a sum close to the asking price of £150,000 for the leasehold interest. The agent was Colliers Robert Barry.
