Orient-Express has appointed Robbie Gleeson as the executive head chef for the two UK Day Trains - the British Pullman and Northern Belle. Based in London, Gleeson will report directly to Andrew Overton, general manager, UK Day Trains. He joins from the five-star Westbury Hotel, Dublin, where he was executive chef and led a team of 27, catering for two restaurants and many private dining rooms. Prior to that, Gleeson ran his own award-winning restaurant with his wife in County Cork.
