Rockliffe Hall achieves AA five star status

Rockliffe Hall, near Darlington, County Durham, has been awarded five stars by the AA, one year after opening.

Nick Holmes, managing director of the 61-bedroom hotel, said that the award was testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment of every single member of Rockliffe Hall's team. "That they have achieved this outstanding ranking so quickly, is truly impressive," he said.

The five-star-AA-status comes just after the hotel, which has an 18-hole golf course and spa, collected a Gold Award for Business Tourism in the North East Business Tourism Awards.
