Ronan Sayburn to launch wine academy

Wine expert Ronan Sayburn has launched a wine academy, offering the both public and trade wine training and specialist masterclasses.

One of only 214 Master Sommeliers, Sayburn was most recently head of wines at the Dorchester Collection. He has also worked as wine and spirit director at Hotel du Vin group.

Based in London, Sayburn will offer WSET level 2 and 3 training, along with masterclasses on a range of wine-related subjects.

He said: "One of the great pleasures in my life is being able to impart the knowledge I have learnt to the next generation of wine lovers and members of the public wanting to know more about the fascinating subject of wine.

"Over the years I have helped train thousands of people who have an interest in wine whether it is to develop their careers or just for their own pleasure. Establishing my own wine academy allows me to offer education and training to even more people and organisations and I cannot wait to get started."
