Rugby buyers for Arrochar guesthouse

Kevin and Anne Bax from Rugby have bought the three-star Fascadail Country Guest House that overlooks Loch Long in the small village of Arrochar in Argyll and Bute.

The property, which holds a three-star rating from VisitScotland, overlooks Loch Long and commands views of the Arrochar Alps and Ben Arthur.

It offers seven en-suite bedrooms, a dining room, guest lounge and one-bedroom owners' accommodation.

The guesthouse is set in 1.5-acre grounds that contain fountains, a pond, a stream and private parking for eight cars.

The Glasgow office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price in excess of £500,000 on behalf of Chris and Sandra Kirkham.
