Ryanair to launch hotel comparison website
Budget airline Ryanair is set to shake up the hotel bookings market, after announcing the launch of its new hotel comparison website, RyanairHotels.com.
Linking up with HotelsCombined, a hotel comparison engine, the site will search over 300,000 hotels across Europe and plans to deliver "honest, verified, guest reviews and the lowest bedroom prices".
The search portfolio will include all levels of hotel from budget and small independents to luxury properties, while reviews will cover areas including rooms and staff as well as services and accessibility.
Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary said: "RyanairHotels.com searches more hotel prices than any other comparison site to ensure that RyanairHotels.com passengers get the lowest prices and the maximum availability from over 300,000 hotels."
HotelsCombined's director of business development, Yury Glikin, added: "We are thrilled to be partnering with Ryanair. This partnership underlines the constant drive of HotelsCombined to provide the best hotel comparison service to the world's leading websites and will be a great new service for Ryanair passengers."
