Sandals Resorts appoints new chief operating officer

Chairman and founder of Sandals Resorts, Gordon Stewart, has appointed his son as chief executive officer.

Adam Stewart who takes responsibility for all areas of operations immediately, was director of resort product at the company previously.

Stewart junior's most recent project at the company was spearheading the 180-suite expansion of its Beaches Turks and Caicos resort and spa in the Caribbean.
