Scott Davidson appointed general manager of Bannatyne hotel in Darlington
Scott Davidson has moved from Wynyard Hall to become general manager of Dunacan Bannatyne's 60-bedroom hotel in Darlington.
Davidson, who joins the four-star Bannatyne hotel upon completion of a major refurbishment of its wedding and function facility, said he was attracted to the role because of the hotel's commitment to excellent customer service.
"I am looking forward to welcoming guests to the hotel from across the UK who will enjoy our hospitality and make the most of what the North-east has to offer," he added.
Davidson joined the four-star Wynyard Hall in the Tees Valley shortly after it opened in 2007 and helped establish it as one of the leading hotel and conference venues in the North-east.
Originally from Newcastle, he also worked at the Savoy in London, Linden Hall in Northumberland and the Vermont in Newcastle city centre.
Meanwhile, Davidson has been replaced as general manager at Wynard Hall by Adam Dyke, who was previously general manager at Yorebridge House in North Yorkshire.
