Shortlist announced Outstanding New Hotel of the Year Award

Eight hotels which have demonstrated success and excellence during their first three years of operation have been shortlisted for the Outstanding New Hotel of the Year Award.

Organised by the Independent Hotel Show, which runs at London's Olympia from 30 to 31 October, the award is open to independent, luxury and boutique businesses which have been prepared to take risks.

The nominees include six hotels in London: the Ampersand, ME Hotel, 45 Park Lane, Corinthia Hotel, the Wellesley and South Place Hotel; alongside Edgar House in Chester and the Pig in Brockenhurst, Hampshire.

The hospitality industry can vote for their choice of hotel by registering to attend the show here.

The winner will be announced at the show on 30 October, alongside the winner of the Independent Hotelier of the Year 2013 award.
