Shortlist for Visit London Awards 2006

The Hilton on Park Lane and Marriott's Renaissance Chancery Court hotel have made the Visit London Awards 2006 shortlist for Large Hotel of the Year.

Also in the category are Whitbread's County Hall Premier Travel Inn and two Red Carnation hotels, the Chesterfield and the Milestone.

In the running for Small Hotel of the Year are David Levin's the Capital, Red Carnation's Egerton House and Hotel 41, the Summer hotel and the Zetter.

Bed and Breakfast of the Year is between B&B Belgravia, Harmondsworth Hall and Knightsbridge Hall.

Renaissance hotel's Pearl restaurant and bar is shortlisted in the Marketing/PR Campaign of the Year for its "shopping with the chef" promotion, as is the Radisson Edwardian for its "let loose in London" initiative.

The shortlist for the Future London Sustainable Tourism Award category comprises Apex City of London hotel, Gordon Campbell Gray's One Aldwych and Fairmont's Savoy.

Visit London's gala awards night, sponsored by Eurostar, will be held at the Roundhouse theatre in Chalk Farm on 23 November.
