Simon Hall appointed GM of Hotel Indigo Bath ahead of opening

Simon Hall has been appointed general manager of the 166-bedroom Hotel Indigo Bath ahead of its opening in spring 2018.

With more than 25 years' experience in the hospitality industry, Hall will oversee the day-to-day running of the new hotel. It will operate under a franchise agreement with St James's Hotel Group, a subsidiary of the Jersey-based real estate company Somerston Group.

Prior to joining the group, Hall worked as general manager at the 332-bedroom Holiday Inn London - Regent's Park hotel for six years following general manager positions at several other Holiday Inn properties.

Hall said: "I am looking forward to working with the fun and unique Indigo brand to develop the hotel's ethos in the coming months in preparation for the launch. My priorities include developing my team so that we have a successful launch and deliver a best-in-class guest experience at Hotel Indigo Bath."

Sian Pirone, director of sales and marketing for St James's Hotel Group, added: "With Simon's passion for hotels and proven track record in developing and managing a successful team, we are excited to work together towards the successful launch of Hotel Indigo Bath next year."
