Sky introduces new in-room HD packages
Sky believes that more hotels can now offer an enhanced in room experience with the introduction of a new payment package.
Through a partnership with Samsung it has developed a payment plan that includes no up-front set up costs, interest-free payments and a three-year warranty.
Sky said that the deal would make it more affordable for hotels to upgrade their TVs to the latest HD models.
The packages start at £13.50 per room a month, with installation costs spread over three years. Four television packages are available, with access to more than 300 channels.

Graham Long, vice-president of corporate sales sales IT solutions UK & Ireland, Samsung Electronics added: "We recently spoke to a number of IT decision makers in the hotel industry and an overwhelming majority (82%) believed that investment in new technology is the key to enhancing the customer experience, increasing occupancy, and driving revpar.
