Soho House in talks to open hotel in BBC Television Centre

Nick Jones' Soho House group is in talks to open a 50-room hotel in the inner ring of BBC Television Centre in London.

The hotel would also feature a members' club and rooftop pool, according to Property Week.

Developer Stanhope is thought to be in talks with the BBC regarding the project.

Stanhope bought the building from the BBC in 2012, as it moved a large part of its broadcasting operations to Salford.

However the BBC has since rented back a significant part of Television Centre from Stanhope.

Meanwhile Soho House group is set to launch its second new restaurant of the year later this month - a new Chicken Shop in London's Tooting. The opening will follow the launch of Dirty Burger in Vauxhall in August.
