Spit-roasting fitment from Rational

Rational is showing some new applications for inside the SelfCooking Centres at Hotelympia, including a spit-roasting fitment for roasting suckling pigs. All users have to do is place a pig (up to 10kg) on the spit, fit it inside the oven (table-top six- or 10-grid models) and push the relevant programme button.

Roasting of a pig, or a large lamb joint, typically takes two hours. Rational will roast a suckling pig at Hotelympia (on Sunday and Wednesday) and also promises innovations in potato and muffin baking.
