Stephen Allison becomes GM of Macdonald Berystede hotel

Stephen Allison has been appointed as general manager at the four-star Macdonald Berystede Hotel & Spa, near Ascot, Berkshire.
He joins from the Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel & Resort, near Lymington, where he spent two years as general manager and has also held similar positions at the Macdonald Bush Hotel, Farnham, and Macdonald Parkside, Milton Keynes, during its £1m refurbishment.
His earlier career included spells with Menzies and Mount Charlotte Thistle Hotels as well as Gleneagles hotel, Auchterarder.
