Steven Scutt becomes head chef at Edinburgh's Royal Terrace hotel

The four-star Royal Terrace hotel in Edinburgh has made Steven Scutt its new head chef.

Scutt joins the Royal Terrace from the Edinburgh eateries the Kilted Pig and the Fat Cow, where he has introduced customers to snake, ostrich and kangaroo.

He began his career at the Roxburghe hotel and golf course near Kelso, before becoming head chef at the Queen's hotel in the city centre.
