Swindon couple buy Welsh guesthouse and campsite

Bill and Heather Morse from Swindon have made their first move into the hospitality sector with the acquisition of the Foxdale guesthouse and campsite in Pembrokeshire.

The four-star guesthouse and three-star campsite are in the coast village of Marloes in Haverfordwest within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

The detached guesthouse contains three letting bedrooms, a large residents' lounge, and a six-seat main dining room with a licensed bar to the side

The owners' accommodation provides two double bedrooms (one with an en-suite bathroom) and a sitting room with French doors.

Along with a garage, car port and greenhouse, the rear of the property has a garage workshop with a kitchen, dining facilities and a patio area to serve breakfasts, coffees and snacks to the campers.

The campsite, which is licensed for 30 tents, covers two acres and provides access to a shower and toilet block, a wash-up area and refrigeration facilities.

The Bristol office of Christie + Co sold the property for close to the asking price of £485,000 on behalf of the previous owners who had run the business for 17 years.
