Team behind Norwich's Farmyard restaurant buys hotel

The husband-and-wife team behind Norwich's Farmyard restaurant has bought the eight-bedroom Dial House hotel in Reepham for an undisclosed sum.

Hannah Springham and chef Andrew Jones purchased the property from Ian Wilson and will run it as a boutique hotel from May this year.

Jones, who has previously worked at Corrigan's Mayfair and the Fox and Grapes in Wimbledon Common, London, will act as executive chef of both Farmyard and the Dial House, while Springham, who is a television producer, will launch Marigold Events for weddings and parties at the Dial House.

Springham told The Caterer that while the hotel will not undergo a refurbishment, the pair aims to revise the food offering at the Dial House to bring it in line with Farmyard.

Springham and Jones launched Farmyard after moving back to their native Norfolk in 2015.
